Utah County Real Estate
Utah County is located approximately 45 miles south of Salt Lake City and boasts a population of just under 500,000 people. With an average elevation of 4,500 feet above sea level, the dramatic Wasatch Mountain peaks of Mount Nebo (11,928 feet) and Mount Timpanogos (11,750 feet) stand starkly above the valley. At the center of the valley is Utah Lake. It is the largest fresh water lake in the state and covers nearly 85,000 acres. The major cities line the valley from north to south with the lake in the middle. Utah Valley is also home to the Sundance Resort, Brigham Young University and Utah Valley University.
