When the owner of this magnificent home first approached the builder, Chad Davis, he presented him with a rare opportunity and challenge. The goal was to build the highest quality home possible. There would be no budget or time constraints. Everything, however, had to be built to a standard of quality and excellence. After three and a half years the dream was fulfilled and they were able to step back and admire this artistic masterpiece of architecture and construction.

The elegant, massive, Spanish brass chandelier hangs down out of a painted blue sky and molded circular picture frame that gives you the feeling of being in the Sistine Chapel. The feeling upon entering is one of peace, beauty and comfort.
To the south of the entry sits a formal dining room with inlaid wooden floors, hand painted custom crown molding, a crystal chandelier, beveled glass mirrors, a hand-carved fireplace, and a 150-gallon oval fish tank. The dining room is called “The Rose Room” and has two sliding doors with back to back carved red and greed roses accented with mother of pearl. It is truly a work of art.
On the north side of the entry is a spectacular formal living room. Often called the “White Room,” the room is framed by a massive window to the west and an elegant marble fireplace to the east. The atmosphere exudes reverence to the sheer beauty of the space. The walls are like a portrait gallery as the owner’s personal art is framed by moldings specifically designed to give the feeling of being in an art gallery.
As beautiful and formal as the entry of the home is, the rest of the home, though also elegant, is comfortable and livable. The kitchen is large and open with a huge island, double ovens, and countertop range. This space opens to a large family room with wood ceilings and beams, built-in cabinets, another 150-gallon fish tank, and a wonderful stone fireplace. There is even a sun room located off of the great room that provides a welcoming place to relax and read a book or do a project. A delicate, timeless piece of artistic glass consists of soft pastel colors for vases holding small flowers and grapes framed by beveled glass which was sent away to be notched like diamonds so to catch the light and send a rainbow of sparkling colors in every direction. It is truly a one of a kind creation.
The master bath is equally impressive with beautiful imported German tile, a carved phoenix bird on the shower door and stained glass humming birds above the bathroom door. The room also boasts his and her sinks, walk-in closets, a large jetted tub with a picture window that looks out onto Maple Mountain, and a large shower.
Next to the master bedroom is one of the most amazing home offices in Utah. If you are looking for an office to impress clients and be inspired in your work this is it. Easily, the most expensive room in the house, this two-story work of art took months to complete. It is made of Honduran Mahogany panels and moldings that were hand carved and hand rubbed to a piano finish. There are twenty-one coats of lacquer which required several months just to apply. Hidden stairs climb to a second level that is full of built-in cabinets, shelves and a large custom desk. It is a spectacular room, and the large windows and sliding door lead out to a balcony that provides western views of the wonderful sunsets that frequent the area.
Along with the many elegant creations, this home is full of recreation and fun. One of the most impressive recreation rooms is the indoor swimming pool and hot tub. The pool is large enough to have a diving board and slide. At the end of the pool there are large glass doors with beautiful stained glass motifs that open up onto a patio for those warm summer days when the family wants to go in and out of the house.
