Hobble Creek Canyon is one of those rare places in the American West. Hobble Creek Golf Course Communities
There are two small private communities surrounding the Hobble Creek Golf Course. The first is the Grindstone area. You literally have to drive past the club house and through the golf course to get to this secluded gated community where homes line the edge of Hobble Creek and surround the mouth of Grindstone Canyon and back to the golf course. It has become a highly exclusive area ideal for cabins, second homes, and year round living.

The second community surrounding the Hobble Creek Golf Course is the Kelly's Grove area. To access this area you drive past the upper end of the golf course and turn down into the Kelly's Grove park area. You then cross the river and come to a small number of homes and lots that border the back nine of the golf course. Here you will find homes ranging from small cabins to million dollar luxury mountain properties. Many properties back to the forest service and provide the opportunity to live close to nature. Like Grindstone, the Kelly's Grove area is ideal for cabins, second homes, and year round living.

Right Hand Fork of Hobble Creek Canyon
Just above the golf course the canyon forks. The Right Hand Fork of Hobble Creek Canyon is largely forest property. Springville has recently created a winter sports park in the canyon that caters to family activities. Just above the winter sports park most of the canyon is closed to automobiles during the winter, but it is open to some incredible snowmobiling. The road is paved for a number of miles up the canyon and there are a couple public camping and picnic areas. Deer, elk, turkeys, and other animals can often be seen. A drive up the Right Hand Fork of Hobble Creek Canyon is truly a pleasure, particularly in the fall when the leaves change and the air is crisp.

Left Hand Fork of Hobble Creek Canyon
Left Hand Fork of Hobble Creek Canyon is where the majority of homes are located in the canyon and the majority of the property is privately owned. These homes range from small nineteenth-century homesteads to multi-million dollar estates on 50 plus acres. Over the last ten years, in fact, the Left Hand Fork of Hobble Creek Canyon has become synonymous with exclusive luxury mountain living. Some of the most desirable properties border Hobble Creek River, yet many prefer to be higher up the hillsides to take advantage of the stunning views up and down the canyon. It is one of those places you have to visit to understand the overwhelming charm of Hobble Creek Canyon.
